The Hans Krüger at KdS Chalons-sur-Marne was the degraded SS-Hstuf down to SS-Ustuf posted from Greko Stanislau (Stanislawow). There will be something about him elsewhere on the forum.

danyb you may be looking at a different Franz Arndt.
SS-Ustuf. KI Franz Arndt with BdS Metz in 1943.
Unless he was a long serving SS man, promotion from KOS to KI in 1943 could mean he was a SS-Uniformtraeger as SS-Ustuf.
A big jump to SS-Hstuf., not unknown, but still a big jump.

CROWCASS List No.11 also has SS-Hschaf. Abt. "Presumably killed at Annecy".
I have no further information about him.
