There seems to have been two trials in Bonn.
The first began in 1985 with von Korff, Rolf Bilharz, Walter Nährich and Richard Freise and a few months later it was "adjourned" because hew evidence was found.
The second trial with von Korff only, seems to have opened in Sept 1987 and finished with sentence on 17 Nov 1988; Freise was acquitted and confirmed on appeal in 1990.

Dear all,
well, maybe Hector was wanted as a witness, but according to the BA Ludwigsburg list from the 1985 trial, a Martin Hector and a few other members of KdS Vichy (incl. a named Eberhard Nicolai and Hermann Buhler) was supposed to be in charge of execution of some 25 hostages in mid July 1944 at the Bourg-Lastic camp (Puy-de-Dôme). Seems there was already an earlier trial back in 1975 (45 Js 29/75) about the same crime. In any case, by the time of the 1985 trial, Hector supposed to have died already, so he wasn't prosecuted any more.
There is some French documentation of the Bourg-Lastic incident, where Hector is mentioned as a key person involved. The article can be found under: https://fusilles-40-44.maitron.fr/spip. ... icle214178
Best regards
Axel

hello all, Hello Axel
I am searching about the Bourg-Lastic incident and can confirm that Martin HECKTOR was the main, amoung 4 Sipo-SD men, prosecuted.
He was condemned by a French military court, at first in january 1949 to 10 years hard labor, and then, a second time in january 1950 to life sentence.
I am very interested in any information about any german archives about him. I have contacted the german Bundesarchiv in April and filled a form to get an authorization to get the files, but no answers. Very dispappointing...
All the best
Loren

SS-Ostuf. PI Paul Braun: “Was in charge of Administration, Gestapo Neustadt/Weinstrasse, until Jan 1945. Last seen in Gerst (?). Home is in Danzig.”
(Information from the US interrogation of two former Stapostelle Saarbrücken officials)
