Hans Friedrich
Hans Friedrich
About this man I also found a text on the internet but it didn't mention his rank.
Nach Presseberichten lebt in Göttingen unbeheiligt der SS-Veteran Hans Friedrich(born 1921). Im Jahr 1940 meldete sich der 19jährige zur Waffen-SS und wurde später Ingenieur der 1. SS-Infanterie-Brigade.
Who can tell me a bit more about Hans Friedrich???
Was he an officer and if so, I'm looking for his complete DoB/birthplace, his ranks, party- and SS-number and
some more unit-info.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Hans Friedrich
He was a familiar of mine.
After war, he became engineer. He died in 2005. He was original from Romania, and started live in Germany soon after war and died there. Anyway, he never had a good life because he was deeply repented, felt much shame and anger at his dark past. I'm sure his confession was a relief for himself, he was investigated after this, would probably be judged if he had lived until 2006.
I'm glad he is regretted, acknowledged that it was unfair, and I deeply desire that he be in God's hands as a repentant human being. I believe he has some brothers and cousins still in Romania, in some former German colonies.
