Hello Phil,

Thanks for telling me about the correct spelling for Anton Gallster, now I know it should be Galister.
So probably a non-German, okay, is possible. I don't have anything on him so I wouldn't know.

And it's still not cleared what Bef. H.W. 'Böhmen-Mähren' means.
Phil said it would probably mean Bef. Hauptwirtschaftlager 'Böhmen-Mähren' and now AliasDavid thinks it means Bef. Heimwehr 'Böhmen-Mähren'. Well, let's wait and see, maybe somebody can tell us the correct answer.

Thanks guys,
Mike

Hello Phil,

The Hauprich you're mentioning here, is that the Hauprich with the SS-nr. 210.558 or the Hauprich with the
SS-nr. 278.983 ???

Thanks,
Mike

Hello Phil,

Thank you very much. How is the weather overthere with you??? Overhere it's cold(but that's okay), alot of wind(that's not so nice)and some snow(looks nice).

But back to the subject.
So who could be the other Hauprich with that other SS-number???
Or is the info in the following thread maybe wrong??
http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... o+hauprich

Take care and have a nice and happy ending of 2005.
And of course also a happy and safe beginning of 2006.

Greetings,
Mike

So the one Peter is mentioning in that thread is probably the same person but with a wrong SS-number.

Overhere it's now showing like crazy, still very windy(so it looks like a little snowblizard)and everything turns into white.

But I know after this it will be over, what we will get next are temperatures above zero, rain and wind.

Mike

He was born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire (Kingdom of Hungary) whose family moved to KLAUSENBURG (present day Cluj-Napoca, north-west of Transylvania, Romania. So he can be considered Austrian or as an Auslander. I'm not German but reading Sven Hasel's books does help.

Thank you Jan-Hendrik and Waffen-IDF,

I think it's safe to write him down as a Volksdeutsche.

To me it doesn´t sound plausible. When your uncle died ~ 1944 at the age of +/- 18 years he must be born at 1924-1926 and not like your result shows in 1906. I´m also not aware that any Waffen -SS run units for pilots (air force)!? Why your man should be born in a German city?

I think you´re on the wrong track.
