Interesting awards…he is displaying the Badge of Honor of the Bulgarian Infantry beneath his War Merit Cross, 1st Class with Swords. On his right pocket, he is wearing the Croat Order of the Crown of King Zvonimir, 2nd Class.

After intensive research about the picture in my top post I must conclude it's not Josef Schwörer but Walter Schmidt (also the conclusion from others on this forum).
So after 14 years a new question appears: does anybode have a picture of Josef Schwörer ?
