Hey everyone. To clear up a few things on the topic, the gendarmerie was called "Oružništvo" as the Independent State of Croatia was created, abandoning the previous Gendarmerie term. As far as uniforms are concerned, Davor Kovačić, author of the Croatian Gendarmerie book, states that (and you can notice it as well) the uniforms were practically the same as their Kingdom of Yugoslavia counterparts. They sewed on their tricolors, they mostly used light Italian Carcano rifles or Mausers.
