Try on my site (http://www.wwii.home.ro/) in the Commanders section. You will find there a large list of the Romanian COs throughout the war. The source is Armata Romana 1941-45 by Cornel Scafes, Horia Serbanescu, Ioan Scafes, Cornel Andronie, Ioan Danila and Romeo Avram, published in 1996 by RAI, at Bucharest.

Yes this is certainly true. Very little has been written (or is availiable in Australia) about the role of the german allies in ww2.
Through this forum my general knowledge of ww2 has been much more deeply developed. A number of threads about the role of Rumania in ww2 have been most interesting.

Question
This may sound like a simple question, but I'm hoping Victor can help us.
What were the different ranks for Romanian generals? Also, what would the equivalent be in terms of "stars"?
For instance, no stripes = 1 star ?
2 stripes = 3 star general?
Is this correct? Also, lt. general > maj. general or < ?
Thanks.

one stripe= general de brigada (brig. gen)
two stripes= general de divizie (maj. gen.)
three stripes= general de corp de armata (lt. gen.)
four stripes= general de armata (general)
The marshal had two marshal sticks in an X form.
The generals also had a special emblem with one star in the middle for their kepis.
