Hi all,

I need help to identify this bulgarian gun. First I thought in an 10cm K04 but the breech is different. Neither it is an 10cm K14...then ..... :?

Hi,

this is an ex-Turkish 10.5-cm Feldkanone L/30 Krupp M 1905 - trophy from the Balkan war. there is still one surviving example in the Military museum in Sofia, Bulgaria:

It is possible you are right. Both Germany and Austro-Hungary during WW1 were using captures French M 1897 7,5cm field guns with some adaptations as anti-air guns. Maybe this is one of these.

Not all French 75 mm guns with "mustaches" were Mle 1897. Several pre-WW1 Schneider guns has "mustaches" as well (Mle 1897 was not a Schneider design): examples include Model 1903, 1906 and 1907 (not sure which one of these is on Sturm78's picture). Their "mustaches" were smaller than those of Mle 1897.
