Brezenheim Prisioner Field

Post by Géza Árbocz » 16 Feb 2003 13:51

My father, Árbocz Miklos, officer from the Royal Hungarian Army was POW by the Amrican troops, and was held at the BREZENHEIM prisioner camp, at the city of Bad Kreuznach in Germany.
I have been there visiting the area, and met a german person who has established a small museum about this camp, which had very few itens, because the American tried do not leave trace of this field.
I know that my father had suffered from the lack of proper buildings, as he needed to stay outside on the field, without house, needing to dig some hole on the ground to have some protection from the wheater, even during the winter.
Can somebody help me with further information about this subject?
