Could someone please tell me if this is a WW2 era Dutch helmet. There is traces of black paint on the inside and a little on the outside. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Re: Dutch Helmet Question
It is indeed a Dutch M1934 helmet, standard in the Dutch army in 1939-40, although limited numbers of other models were also in use. See this link from a Dutch militaria shop: https://www.militarycollectibles4u.nl/a ... origineel/
I believe such helmets used by Dutch police forces or Luchtbeschermingsdienst (Air Raid Protection Service) were often painted black.
