Wikipedia lists https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Hungarian_Army
Hungarian Navy probably In Novi Sad after invasion of Yugoslavia.
River Security Regiment (Újvidék (Novi Sad) after April 1941)
1 Battalion
2 Battalion
3 Battalion
Anyone knows what kind of forces and armament it had, and if any ships?
Hungarian River Security Regiment?
Re: Hungarian River Security Regiment?
I don't own or have access to them, but Charles Kliment's two volume (with a third planned) 'Magyar Warriors' might have details on that question.
Good luck,

it seems those forces were armed with armoured patrol boats and possibly minesweepers.

Here there is the photogallery of Debrecen. One of the photos shows her anchored at Újvidék in 1941 with the fortress of Petrovaradin, situated across the Danube in Croatia, in the background.
