Did Miklos Horthy ever consider the idea of a Hapsburg restoration in Hungary after his death?

So the subject of monarchy was a difficult question in Hungary.
Firstly there was Horthy. He, his son and grandson was all considered suitable and it the highest chance of kingship for all claimants was that of his grandson. After 1942 more and more clues were there, that his grandson would become king.
The Habsburg line was even more difficult. Not one, but three different branches wanted to have the throne.
Not to mention curious claimants like that of Lord Rothermere and son, or those that wanted an older Hungarian noble family on the throne like that of Széchenyi and Eszterházy.
If anyone is interested, I could write in more detail, but there were too many options.
The Romanian king was also considered for a few years to create a Romano-Hungarian kingdom (similar to Austria-Hungary) and with this move, the ethnic Hungarian lands would not be lost.
The Italian king and some of his relatives were similarly in the minds of politicians that time.

Interestingly enough, Miklos Horthy's son Istvan Horthy appears to have supported Otto von Hapsburg's claim to the Hungarian throne:
