I am looking for the identity of a romanian officer who was burried in a big "festival" in Braila on the 6th of July 1941..
maybe there is some mentioning in a newspaper or someone knows about the funeral?
All I "know" is that that the officer in question was killed at/near Isaccea"
it seems to have been a "big event" - including german officers marching with the procession with steelhelmet in summer..
the procession from the church to the cemestry shall have been ca 2h (even if the straight way would only be about 10minutes?) - and might had the feeling of a "fair"
as the funeral seems to have been a great event, maybe some romanian newspaper or book might have mentioned the event and the officer?
would be great to lear more about the event
