Hungarian vs Romanian skirmishes on eastern front

Whilst they were nominal allies on the Eastern front,we’re there any armed skirmishes between Hungarian and Romanian units?
To avoid such conflict,did the Germans ensure that either German or Italian armies separated the two hostile armies?
