smoke grenades

Hi everyone.

I was reading about Romanian anti-tank soldiers and how each infantry platoon could have two such men trained at PLT level to combat tanks.
Apparently this small two man team would have a leader armed with a SMG and smoke candles, the second man would be armed with a pistol and number of anti-tank grenades or other devices.
The part were I need info is the "smoke candles", are these German made? are they really grenades like the "Blendkörper 2H" for instance?
I really need a picture of these candles or grenades to scratch build for my Romanian infantry company.
Any help would be welcome.
