Any good sites about Hungarian armed forces in WW2?

#1

Post by Mait » 01 Jul 2002, 15:43

Hello.

I have found some really good sites about Romanian (like Dutch Helmet), Italian (Comando Supremo), and other Axis nations armed forces. But I have not found decent sites about Hungary. Are there any? Somebody got any addresses?

Best Regards,

Mait.

You can find any data here:
http://www.bibl.u-szeged.hu/bibl/mil/ww2/

but it is not only Hungarian army site.

I don't know if it's good enough for you, but this very site includes info on the Hungarian forces.

If You refer to "http://www.wwii.home.ro/", then I must say that it is a splendid site with a lot of useful information, but Dutch Helmet looks a little better (I mean the graphic side) and the name poped up in my head faster when I wrote my question.

But I admire the Romanian sites about WW2 history. A lot of information is available there that I could not reach other way. Thaks.

Best Regards,

Mait.

Can`t wait to see the new look :)

I really like Your site because I have got a lot of useful information about armed forces from there (especially the short articles about different forces - infantry, cavalry, etc).

Best Regards,

Mait.

Nice to see you too!!

Well I have been in Alaska!!!..... besides WWII my other hobby[ almost an obsession ] is fishing, and during spring/early summer, I work as a guide at Rainy Moose Lodge on the Kasilof and by the Russian and Kenai rivers.

I brought back a wall hanger this time, during one of the days I wasnt guiding I hooked into a world class Sockeye salmon, the brute tipped the scales at 12 lbs [ huge for a sockeye ] and Im having him stuffed!!!

I can post pictures of him on here if you'd like them!!!

Nice to see you again, and I'm back here for the year!!!

....dont think I've started off on the right foot with Ovidius

We all know our friend Ovidius very well :|

Alaska is a pretty nice place.

There is new section where you can talk about anything you want so maybe you can post your pictures there.
