Did the Romanians received Pz IVs and Panthers from Germany?
I'ved heard about some TA's assault guns in the Romanian armor, but I don't know if Romania had Panzer IV's who was the widest variety of Axis armor encountered in WWII. But about the Panther tank? What kind of German armor Romania purchased from the Third Reich?

Take a look here:
Romanian Armour in World War Two
http://members.tripod.com/~Sturmvogel/romafv.html
for a rather complete and detailed history of Romanian armor;
and here:
http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/romania/romania.html
for tech data and pictures.
According to Greg Kelley and Jason Long, there were delivered a rather significant number of PzKpfw IV(12 in 1942, 31 in 1943 and 98 in 1944).
There is a PzKpfw IV in the park of the National Military Museum(a late version with long-barreled gun) but they seem to know very little about that vehicle
Greg Kelley and Jason Long claim also that the Panthers appeared in Romanian service only from Soviet captures after August 23, 1944. However, there are rumors that there were "some" Panthers also delivered by the Germans.

Romania did receive some Pz IV F, F2, G, H and J, from 1942 to 1944. The Romanian designation for it was T.4
It equipped the 1st Tank Regiment (from the 1st Tank Division), the various ad-hoc mechanized detachments in August-September 1944 and then the lat remaining 8-9 tanks were gave to the 2nd Tank Regiment which operated in Czechoslovakia and Austria as part of the Soviet 27th Guards Tank Brigade in the last 2 months of the war.
More details about the T.4 at:

Here is the T.4 in the National Military Museum in Bucharest:

Ovidius, there were no Panthers in the Romanian army in WWII!

The figures I have for actual PzKpfw IV deliveries are:
1942-12, 1943-31 7 upto 23/08/44-83. The majority were the older type H's but a few F2's and J's were delivered.
The delivery schedules for armoured vehicles to Romania from Germany were titled as Olivenbaum I, II & III plus Quittenbaum I
After there defection the Romanians captured two Tigers intact but were ordered to hand them over to the Russians.
