Thanks, Mr. waldorf. Next one:

Which NDH units took part in the "Unternehmen Schwarz" May-June 1943?

Cheers,

Let's try:

Operation Schwarz, NDH units:
- 4th Home Defense Jäger Brigade
- 9th Home Defense Regiment
- 14th Home Defense Regiment
- 15th Home Defense Regiment

Hope that I've got it right...

To the best of my knowledge, only the 4th mountain actively participated in the offensive. Since you've listed it, it goes over to you!

Cheers,

Hmm I've found the info here: http://www.vojska.net/ww2/battles/schwa ... rength.asp

Now my question - who was? "The pride of the cavalry"
2 November 1917: Mihai Viteazul Order 3rd class
22 June 1941 – 4 November 1942: 6th Motorized Rosiori Regiment
12 February 1942: Mihai Viteazul Order 2nd class
26 September – 6 October 1942: 3rd Mountain Division
5 November 1942 – 4 April 1944: 8th Cavalry Division
18 December 1942: Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross
7 January 1943: promoted to the rank of brigadier general
6 January – 10 March 1944: Guard Division
4 April – 20 September 1944: 1st Armored Division

Cheers

What Romanian ship was subjected to the heaviest air attacks against it, one of the heaviest air attacks against a single ship in WW2? Also, where did this happen?

Is this question too hard?

Hints: it was a Romanian destroyer and it happened off Sevastopol.

Since nobody seems to know about it, i'll post a short story about this destroyer soon, in the Kriegsmarine section (or should it be in this section?).

It was Constantin Costachescu.

New question: When was the 1st Romanian Armored Division formed?
