Hi Marta, the two last photos are the best so far. Just a note, German women in service did not wear makeup. I'm sure you would look pretty with less or without.

Great photos Marta, I see you took the advise to wear your cap down on the forehead as commonly worn at the time. It seems that German women at the time really didn't wear make up, the opposite of women in the Allied countries who were encouraged to wear it. If you do, wear a period lipstick color like a deep red rather than pink. Also consider period correct ear rings or wear none at all.
I can tell you are very popular with the German reenactors!

Very nice, Marta!

Much better for a photographer's studio portrait with your hair down and still regulation at the front.

Now you have worked on your impression more, perhaps it would be a good idea to try the "Amt" pictures again?

You could try; "nice Helf.": "He will be happy to see you now.."

vs

"strict Helf.": "He has been waiting 5 minutes already!"

<grin>

Also when "on the road" carrying his luggage from the car with a pen in your teeth, a bag in each hand and a writing-pad under your arm!

Good luck!

John
