Reenacting the Great War

#1

Post by Deathshead » 22 Dec 2002, 04:57

Hello,

I figured I could offer anyone interested in starting a great hobby a chance to visit my Imperial German Reenacting website. Perhaps if you are from a nearby state and you are interested in joining you could drop my an email. The major American WWI reenactment takes place three times a year, so it won't interfer with other hobbies. The experience is worth every penny.
Here is our recruiting web address

Hi Deathshead,

Which team do you play for, allied or axis ?.

For a good Great War site, you might try the UK based Great War Society very informative.

Regards

Steve

My Dad used to reenact WWI German back in the 70's. His group was the only WWI group in the mid-west and one of only a few in America. He had a lot of fun reenacting, and I'm sure I will!

There is a group in England known as "Im Westen", their website was an interesting one but for some reason I cannot find it any more. Is it offline?

Austro-Hungarian and Italian WWI reenacting

#7

Post by IFG » 30 Dec 2003, 15:34

IFG is making A-H uniforms based on originals samples. We just aquired a late war (ersatz) M15 tunic and feldkappe. Plus we have access to original breeches and Overcoat (greatcoat). We can also do reproduction A-H ankle boots and just about any other equipment piece needed to fill you kit out. We already do Italian WWI repros as well. Original equipment items are available in the area we live in (ex. A-H South Tirol territory). Drop me a line or visit our website http://www.italianfront.com/reproww1.htm
