apparently in the last few months his products have gotton ALOT better, they suposedly have the nice Hour Glass "Germanic Fit", they supposedly have the skirt raised toward the rear and have the sleeves slightly longer then the skirt and use thicker wool, i believe Pirschen has been on here quite a bit, maybe he could correct me

Yep. I have one of his "old" tunics and several "new" ones, and there has been a big improvement. They will never be a Janke, but they do what I want them to do, and they are cheap enough that I've been able to buy extras for our new recruits and my sons.

We're just back to the same old argument. Decide how picky you are. If you want the best, and can afford it, buy the best.

I wouldn't say never. Anything can be copied.
If the buisness became big enough, he would be able to have wool manufactured, that was exactly the same as the wool comming out of europe.

really wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Herr Janke to drop his prices. As you will admit, his products really ARE "Porsche" and most of the others are "Lada"
Sorry, but I don´t agree. First, Janke don´t manufacturing his items himself, they are made by a Polish manufacturer. Only special (and expensive) orders out of the standard range are coming from his hands.

Second, his own manufactured items are still very good, but far away from tho old items made in the 90´s.
I have a Fliegerbluse made by him in 1998, and if I am looking to his Fliegerblusen sold today I only shaking my head.
His prices are still top but his gear isn´t.

I bought a lot stuff sold by Keith or Barry Lyndon or Sturm, and they have very good items, too. Not every thing, but a lot. Also I have bought some items at LB and ATF, and some of the items were crap, too.

Has anybody bought any of Pirschen's DAK stuff? Out of the Far East sellers his tunic is the only one that at least looks half-way decent:

Seeing that I'm on the waiting list for my LB tunic and pants to be made I have elected to get some Pirschen products (M42 Kielhosen trousers, and maybe an M43 or M44 tunic) to hold me off until those items come in.

Will anybody fill me in on the quality of these items? Possibly post pics? I'm more interested in how nice the pants are. The M44 looks nice, and though of limited issue, I think it would be kinda cool to have.

Hey Pirschen-

Could you post pictures of your "updated" M43? The skirt looks long on the eBay photo, and I really want to make sure it's the new style before I buy it.

Hi Pirschen.
Is there any chance you are going to make the M40 Great coat?
Possibly head wear in the future? :P
