Hessen is one of the most reliable dealers around, in my experiences with them. They also have a rewards program, so you can get a little back from your purchases. Like any vendor, their quality depends upon where they get it, so they are tied to Ant-Z, although some of their stuff comes from other source, like Sturm, etc.

Wanted to give some fair and factual feed back regarding my purchases from Hessen Antique. My first purchase was an M41 Tropical field cap, one of those types if you've ever seen the Afrika Korp german soldiers on the 1967 Rat Patrol tv show. GREAT looking cap but it had an intense mildew odor. Hessen swapped it. Then purchased two M43 style black panzer caps. No prob with these. Then purchased an more expensive, $40, M43 green wool field cap, and that one had a mildew odor on the brim/visor part of the hat. They said they would exchange it but I had would have to pay the shipping. Won't purchase from them again. But if anyone reading this does just be sure to specify 'No Mildew Please'

I have bought jack boots + ammo pouches from them and I can say that the boots were some of the best I have ever seen and the pouches were not bad. As for their tunics I have no personal experience but I only hear good of them for their value and decent at worst quality. One thing I can say is that the customer support is stellar and very accessible. Their products I believe are not a bad investment.
