I don't reenact but like the ability to shoot full auto without the $$$ and paperwork.Artilleree wrote:Ingsoc75, I hate to nag but id love to see some more internal pics before I lay down that kinda dough! Are you still happy with it? Details Is what I crave!

I have both the 35 round magazine (that comes with the BFONG) and a 71 round drum I bought off Gunbroker. BOTH shoot flawlessly!
I got to ring in the new year by shooting off 40 rounds in my backyard!

I will post some pics but I can assure you it's very reliable and easy to clean. It disassembles just like the real thing.
The only wrinkle is the ammo. Atlantic Wall Blanks has been out of stock for months. If you can find another source or make your own then your gold!
Pics to follow soon!

It seems a German reenacting unit bought about a dozen PPSH-41's, and cornered the market on AW's BFONG blank. I spoke to the owner at AW and everytime they make a batch they almost always get bought up in bulk. You need to check everyday and inquire when the next batch will be available. They are in stock right now. 200 rounds for $69.99. I just purchased a bag, so...Ingsoc75 wrote:I don't reenact but like the ability to shoot full auto without the $$$ and paperwork.Artilleree wrote:Ingsoc75, I hate to nag but id love to see some more internal pics before I lay down that kinda dough! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'll try to post a review of both the PPSH 41 and MP40 BFONGs when I can.
Cheers!

Satter, Ill look forward to you'r reviews as well! Ever get that mp 40 crate?
Anybody know if the 9.3 blanks can be made with the standard 9mm luger shoulder and crimp dies from CDH? I am hoping with some adjustments they will work. I use cut down 223.REM cases.

Easy. No paperwork needed for an MP40 BFONG. At least not in Texas.dixiedrummer wrote:Satter, you probably have an answer for this, but why did you spend 6k on a "fake" gun when you could have spent a little more for the real thing?

Re: The SS Room Mp40 is it worth it?
I know this is an old thread but...
Anyone still using these? I recently acquired a SS Room MP40 and PPSH41 for not a lot of money.
Trying to figure out how to resolve chain firing issues. Pretty much the MP40 just chain fires through a mag until it happens to empty or jam up. It is impossible to actually just get a round or three off. Also have the same problem with the PPSH41, its a joy burning through a whole drum while you aren't even pulling the trigger anymore.

Well, in Germany you can get at least a semi automatic MP40 replica, e.g. here: https://www.waffenfuzzi.de/freie-waffen ... p.a.k.html

You should ask that dealer if he exports this gun to other european countries. Several other dealers sell it for prices between 320 - 400 Euros in the internet. Or you can go just in a local german weapon store, show your passport, cash and carry.
In Germany you don't need a license if you solely use it on private property, only for carrying blank firing guns in the public. But even with a license it wouldn't be a good idea to carry a MP40 replica in the public unless you want to be assaulted by a SWAT team. I don't know how the situation in Croatia or other european countries is.

Reducing the MP40 to a "toy" for so called "Reenactors" is pure nonsense.
Semi-Automatic "Playtime-Nonsense" for a few hundred Euro, what a real Scheisse for so much money...
Who likes to "play", will accept this, I am sorry for all this nonsense...

Thanks Helmut for your help,i think if you own a blank gun in Croata you just need to tell the police you have it.I had a frend arested after they found a blank gun that he didn't "registere" to the police. I mean i realy wondered would a ssroom's or now NJ sekela Bfong be able to ship to the EU or would there be anny law isues. I mean a BFONG like that is realy nothing but a heap of metal, the bolt is backward and it only lets gases out of the barrle thrue a tube

So you have two run away replicas? That’s not good.zenuke wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019 15:53I know this is an old thread but...
