Luxemburg Reenactment

#1

Post by SchwimmerDave » 25 Sep 2013, 23:06

Hi, I thought it would be interesting if there was a reenactment event in Luxembourg sometimes in the winter. There are or have been many in Belgium, but the little country of Luxembourg had an important role too, and there is, among other things, the Diekirch Museum to prove it.

So, anybody heard of or knows if there is something going on there?

Thanks

There was an event last December in and around the chateau at Clervaux. I believe that it was organised from the Diekirch museum and they had invited a living history group from the U.K., who represented the German infantry. I attended and found their uniforms and equipment pretty authentic. They come from all over the U.K. and had special permission to parade in Luxembourg.
