MP40 Wooden Transport Box

Hello all.

For some time I've been looking around to buy a MP40 transport box to bring my MP40 to reenactment events. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find anyone who makes these. The owner of Panzerwerks has passed away and Nord Ost Crates have yet to return my emails.

Does anyone knows where I may find an original or reproduction for sale? If so please let me know. A link to a pic is below.

You might be able to have these folks Custom build you one: http://www.civilwarboxesandfurniture.co ... rders.html
They mostly do ACW, but their site says they are open to any custom orders. Crates and boxes are their bread and butter!

Another possibility is to wait an see if the GSG 22lR MP40s are shipped in wood crates like their STG44s are/were. Then you could buy one off somebody who doesn't want the box, though the markings are sure to be inauthentic.

Just a few ideas!

Hi there, "box mp38" - I love your MP38/40 crates, if you have one available or can build one for me please let me know. I've been looking for an accurate reproduction for my MP40 gun for a long time. I guess I cannot message you directly because I just recently became a member of this forum (primarily because I saw your post) but if you see this let me know.
