M35 pots and M31 liner

So I'm curious.
I just got scammed with a pot supposed to be size 64, but instead is stamped "ET68".
I have ordered a 64/57 liner for a size 64 pot, but I don't think it'll fit the pot due to the large size difference.
No other liner fits my head circumference except maybe a 62/55, but even then, I really don't think it'll fit.
I am aware that you can fit a liner in a pot one size smaller/larger, but that would mean I need a 66/59 liner, but that really won't fit my head.
Is it perhaps somewhat possible to install a 64/57 liner into an ET68 pot?
Thanks, Hartmann.
