Excellent photo's from the Victory show.
Our group was down for the first time this year. Kampfgruppe Schottland. Excellent weekend and the battles were good fun. Hopefully I will get some photo's up soon. Just joined this particular forum.

Though I've not searched through every photo in this thread, I thought I'd change it up by posting my first attempt at a Heer Cavalry impression of the early War period. I am on a friend's horse with mostly incorrect horse furniture. Headstall, girth, saddle blanket, etc. Since this was taken last September, I have found almost all of the correct early tack in order to do this impression near perfect though not quite.

I am often amazed at the public's reaction not knowing just how important the horse was to the German Army. So many Americans incorrectly believe that the Wehrmacht was entirely mechanized.
