Hi Tirad
Yes it is an officers uniform.
The rank is "Hadnagy" which is a second lieutenant or there about's. Portraying a reserve officer in the Signals corp (this allows me to do the field post you can just make out in the picture)

Hi, Greetings from Indonesia!
The pics was taken at the reenactment event for the Battle of Bojongkokosan (end of 1945) between 23rd Indian Division 'The Fighting Cock' with Indonesian freedom fighters. Me with beret.

Re: Show us your reenactment photos!
As a member of The Scottish Military Vehicle Group I was delighted to again take part this year in our Forces in the Field Event.
Returning for its eighth year...Forces in the Field didn't disappoint!
The event at Culzean Castle showcased an exciting array of historical and modern day military personnel, equipment and operations. Thousands of visitors enjoyed climbing inside the cockpit of a plane, watching soldiers from a by-gone era march into battle and discovered what the Vikings ate in camp.
Whether it was marvelling at the weapons or gasping at the gas attack, cooking for the company or surviving in the trenches, learning about the story behind the forces from flintlock pistols to the present day, there really was so much fun for all the family.
Living History Re-enactments, Weaponry, vehicle displays, Field Kitchen cooking, Remote control tanks, Aircraft cockpit display, 1940’s Hairdresser, Legion, Charity Stalls it was a jam packed weekend and something for everyone and to top it all all everyone basked in the beautiful sunshine on day 1!
Whether it's marvelling at the Scottish Military Vehicles, battling it out in Nerf Wars, having a go at the inflatable army obstacle course or getting your hair styled by a 1940's hairdresser there was lots of fun had by all the family and if you missed it this year, then don't worry we'll be back again next year.

Re: Show us your reenactment photos!
Here is my WIP LSSAH 1941 impression so far! Forgot to wear my bayonet and my gas mask canister in this one. I still have to add my Eastern Front ribbon, my Assault Badge, and after this lockdown I'll get to sew on my cuff title. I still have to fully weather it.
Just dyed my boots and I forgot to buy something to seal it in! Now it rubs off on the Gemaschen and the trousers.
I've been stalking these forums for years and I've always wanted to reenact ever since I watched Band of Brothers when I was about 5!

Potz, Mohren, Blitz und Kreuzelement,
Wer den Fritz und seine Soldaten noch nicht kennt!"
Damn bloody hell
Upon anyone still not knowing Fritz and his soldiers!"

Sorry for the delay of my answer Satter.
We are located in Bulgaria but no reenactment event lately.
