Chris I'm 24. I was behind the mg34 on the far left of the battlefield right next to the public. But right when the GI's started to appear the gun malfunctioned. The Air in the gas valve was all out. So i grabbed my trusty m48, and let them GI's catch some hell!!

I would have thought more heer re-enactors were out there but i guess i was wrong.

there you go, good pictures of Frankenmuth.

Oh, The old man in those 2 pictures was a Royal Marine Commando who we talked to for over an hour. He said he had landed on sword the night before the invasion to lay explosives, and was armed with only a knife. He also took a floating fortress in some estuary in belgium with a commando team. And extracted Tito from yugoslavia for the meeting in malta, then reinserted him. He really had some great stuff to tell us, and I really enjoyed talking with him.

Hey all- damn we Canadians were looking for Tom but couldn't find him! arg! Thanks for the hospitality, we much appreciate it. We left Saturday night after we went to 'spring for papa' 8)

Was great meeting you guys, we had a good time. My friend and I have some new pics, will start a new thread. Nice pics Chris! Good to meet you and pass on to John M., we appreciate the hospitality....

Now if only our gas gun worked (we were on the mg34 and it didn't work until the Brits were like 5 feet away from us.). Shame as we only got like 30 seconds of 'play time' for the weekend....next time....
