REQ: Photo Help, Sylvester Haase

Gents, Ladies:

Many of you are familiar with the former organizers of our Kampfgruppe, Sylvester Haase, who passed away in 2003. We're in the process of updating the KG website (http://www.soldaten.ca) with a photo memorial page of Sylvester, but I humbly request if anyone has photos of him to email me off site or post here, so that I can put them on a website. I'll credit you, as per your pics used, I know Syl made many trips to the states and made many a unique impression on the people he met.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Regards

Drew

Thanks for sharing the picture of Sylverster. Exactly as I remember him. We were family friends and I spent a lot of time at his house in Mount Albert. He shared many WW2 stories with me, when I was a young teen. I recall wearing some of his uniforms and Sylvester letting us hold a few rifles from his collection. I remember a few rides around his property in his German WW2 vehicle.

Croezen,

Thanks for your comment (and from a post I did over 15 years ago too!!) . I would love to hear any stories of his that he shared with you... if possible.
