I am searching for biographical information about Dr. Harald Diettrich, who headed shortwave transmitter section of ReichsRundfunkGeselleschaft during early part of War. He oversaw work of American radio broadcasters stationed in Berlin. Earlier he helped Americans with broadcasts during the 1936 Olympic Games. Can you suggest a website or other German radio history source through which I can learn about him? I tried the German Radio Museum in Wiesbaden, but they focus on radio hardware, not history. Thank you.

Do you know the book "Assignment to Berlin" by Harry W. Flannery? If not, you can find it here:

https://books.google.de/books?isbn=1787207129

Then search for the word Diettrich, and you will find some pages where he appears.
