It's been 15 years since I saw and enjoyed "Downfall," so I'm glad to be reminded of the great amount of detail present in that wonderful film. That said, I am surprised to see these photos of the waiting room recreated for the Führerbunker; one would have expected that the paintings brought down there from Hitler's private apartment would have been displayed in a manner in which they could have been enjoyed by those sitting and waiting for their meeting with him, and not hung on the wall behind the seating arrangement! I do realize that actual period photos taken of the Führerbunker are rare, so my comment is not in any way to doubt the accuracy of this depiction.

I'm still very interested in the subject matter; however, I've been busy with other life interests in the past few years... it's good to see these set photos from that excellent movie.

l have been working intensively on the bunker lately. The more I engage with it, the more questions emerge.

Most of the adjustments and drawings in my opinion have errors.

So I decided to recreate the study in my basement. When the time comes I will send some pictures.
