How did propaganda depict Adolf Hitler in 1939 before the war?
I’m curious to know how Nazi propaganda depicted Adolf Hitler in 1939 before the war.

There's a propaganda poster from the 1930s depicting Hitler as a gentle father who interacted with pure Aryan children, titled "Kinder, was wissen Sie über Ihren Führer?". You can find it at this link:

Cantankerous,
sorry, you are wrong, your illustration is from a children's book from the year 1933, this motif never existed as a propaganda poster.
Title: Kinder, was wißt Ihr vom Führer?
The book was reprinted several times before 1945, the total number of copies printed unfortunately unknown to me personally ?
The asking price at the link above is completely inflated, a pure fantasy price for ignorant buyers, sorry.
Forget about this motif as a poster, there was no such thing !
Franz Schneider Verlag https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Schneider_Verlag
Franz Schneider Verlag produced, and still produces, mostly trivial nonsense, extremely successful permanent series for children and young people, inferior mass literature.

P.S. For the majority of German bookstores, this trivial ******** is the so-called "bread and butter" literature, nothing more.

Half cloth 64 pp. Extremely rare and antiquarian scarcely available Nazi youth book with book decoration and drawings by Willi Engelhardt. With chapters like: How Adolf Hitler was betrayed, Horst Wessel sings his song, German boys and girls, for you and your future lives and fights the Führer and much more. Cover removably foiled. Bookstore stamp and a sticker on the foil. Usage and storage marks usual for age. Well preserved.
