Berghof excavation

Post by Gilesusher » 09 Jun 2023 19:53

Fortunately someone recently has taken a spade to the Berghof ruins. Clearly an archaeologist because the pit has been cut with forensic precision.

But (go asap otherwise it will disappear soon) someone has usefully dug and delineated exactly where the Berghof terrace (above the garage) ends and abuts the wall of the house.

That hole (where the back wall of the garage came to the outside of the Wintergarten, where the window let down into a space below) has been open before through erosion. You’re right - the authorities always fill this back in, so best to see it soon.
