Well, that makes it too easy, it's part of the prison where Hitler was held in 1924-25.

Here is the prison today, with the two green domes on the entrance building indicated. But the gate seen in the photo with Hitler beside the car looks quite different. Perhaps it's the gate in the second building, the one behind the one with the domes.

The famous photo was actually taken at the Bayertor city gate, on the east side of the old city section, all the way on the other side of the river from the prison. Heinrich Hoffmann was not permitted to photograph Hitler leaving the prison itself.
