Best books on Third Reich architecture & culture

I highly recommend Leon Krier's Book Albert Speer. The book has the full story and drawings behind Hitler's wish to rebuild Berlin. Fantastic book.

That would be this one:

It was pure theatre and the embodiment of the power of the Nazi German state.

For those with an interest in German architect Albert Speer I can recommend the profusely illustrated monograph:

I'm looking for information on a sculptor from the Nazi era named Arno Brecher. I dont know if I'm in the right place but a family member found a book, a first edition with Arno Brecher and Adolf Hitlers Names in it. They came to me cause I'm the "expert" on that era. If anyone out there has any info for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I know he has a museum in Cologne.

This book is probably already mentioned here (I havn't time to go through all the pages!) though I highly recommend 'inside the third reich' by Albert Speer.

A book that is generally a biography of the life of Albert as he moved through the architectural ranks of the nsp to become one of Hitler most trusted associates and aspiring architect. He then became armaments minister of the reich and his achievements in production even under nightly bombing raids of industrial districts was phenomenal!

It also gives an insight into hitlers most trusted associates. Well worth a read

I am finding a rich cache of information about Hitler's personal dwellings at the Berghof and his Prinzregentenplatz apartment in "Hitler at Home" by Despina Stratigakos, Yale University Press, 2015. This fine reference work, including photos and schematics, also tells the story of Prof. Gerdy Troost and her firm, Atelier Troost, and her colleagues' vast influence upon Hitler, Speer and the furnishings and interior designs of the Third Reich era. As you might guess, I heartily recommend this book!

I've read this one and it is super interesting : "Art, Culture and Media under the Third Reich" : we can really understand how autoritarian governments usqe culture and media in order to take over the power... We realize that it is extremely important to ensure that our country respects freedom of expression and non-censorship... At this time, it reminds us that democratic freedom is never taken for granted and that our role is still to protect it.

Has anyone ever seen any books about the Führerbau and/or the NSDAP Verwaltungsbau in Munich, providing photos of the interiors, or of Göring’s Reichsluftfahrtministerium in Berlin? Since each of those buildings were as unique as the New Reichschancellery, I'd love to see and to hopefully add to my library any books published on those subjects.

I am aware that there are books which touch on each of those buildings, with occasional photos in passing -- usually of exteriors -- but were there studies of those buildings on the order of Speer's splendid coffee-table book on the New Reichschancellery? (I am aware that Speer's book captured public interest because of whose office was located there, so did his office in Munich generate the same interest...after all, it was designed by Speer's predecessor!)
