Some information on Goering's estate at Karinhall can be found here, although there seems to be some disagreement over the exact location:

Von Odine...yes the Palace is in Nurnberg...The former I.G. Farben offices are in Frankfurt am Main...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IG_Farben_Building...Von Odine wrote:Where is the IG Farben Building located?
Is that the Nürnberg Palace of Justice?
Helly, like Sobel said, it's not very easy to see Auschwitz very clear on Google right now...maybe when they update the satellite images it will be clearer...

You are welcome, my friend!Potsdamerplatz wrote:Thanks for these ghostsoldier.
I have some of my own to post in weeks to come, many I have made screen-caps of already including famous Nazi locations in Berlin and Prague.
Best regards.
Ever since Google Earth came along, I've wanted to collect all the aerial photos of the NSDAP sites that I could...just a passion of mine, I guess...that way, I can see places virtually that I will probably never get a chance to see in real life!

I must admit I do like the Commie pile... at least the pieces were not crushed up for concrete or something... I'll be seeing it in less than 2 months.. I'm no vandal...but I hope there are some chips of disintegrating stone laying about...ghostsoldier wrote:Von Odine...yes, you are correct with your revised caption..it is less confusing! ...
Here is the Reichschancellery site on Willamstrasse & Vossstrasse today. At far right is the Mohrenstrasse U-Bahn station where marble from the NRC interior is re-used.

Thanks for the extra information. I had been told last week that the location was wrong. Could you post a screenshot from Google Earth of Heydrich's villa if you know the exact building?DRIFTER wrote:This is not Heidrich's vila, but a church & nun's residence. The vila is an estate (Chateau) further down hill towards village of Dolinek
Kind regards.
The "lower"Chateu in Panenske Brezany
The lower Chateu was first occupied by von Neurath and after him by Reinhard Heidrich. I also include the picture of the statue in front of the iron gate, there are 2 of them, one on each side. This is the spot where Heindrich's son was killed by a passing automobile. The Czech driver was not found guilty.
I hope this works. The Google image is not as good as Czech version: http;//WWW.MAPY.cz/ Its only in Czech, covers whole Europe and it easy to navigate as controls are same.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to send a screen shot. The one enclosed is a digital camera shot of the screen.
There are also several errors pertaining to the Heidrich's killing. The driver "Klein" did not fire a shot as he panicked and instead of removing the safety from his side arm he ejected the entire clip. He was shot in the leg but not killed.
Heidrich did not fire a shot either as his gun was in leather holster and he was sitting on it, wounded. This is from police report and Gestapo records.
