There was no exhibition or museum between the Holocaust Memorial and the Fuhrerbunker site when I was in Berlin last May. It must be a temporary exhibition. Does anyone have more photos of it?

Yes it´s a new one and will be closed in a few weeks I think...I got some more photos. Here you go:

p.s. the "berliner unterwelten" organisation created this little exhibition.

Edit: that´s a interesting shot: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/4139/p2705091214.jpg

Great image. Wonder what happened to the models afterwards?

Thanks for those photos. It's a pity it was only a temporary exhibition. A permanent museum somewhere in the Wilhelmstrasse area would be a good thing and would do a good tourist business, I would think - like the Checkpoint Charlie museum only less of a circus. I know Berlin is already full of museums, but this is a unique area and attracts a lot of very well-informed visitors.

It's easy to see why Hitler didn't like this building. It's all very cosy and 19th century. As his egomania grew after 1933, he would have found it is increasingly intolerable.
