After a couple attempts to view the youtube link provided by Polynike yesterday (above note), I finally gave up -- I couldn't stand having to wait through offensive political advertising propaganda in order to watch the linked video. Wish there was a way of providing a link that simply did what it was intended to do...!

I do not understand what you mean? When I press the link it opens directly to the video. NRK time stamps 4.22-5.35
Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
The link works for me as well.
Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
I get an ad [McLaren cars] also , but nothing more offensive than most other ads

Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
Today, the new book "City Guide to Hitler’s Berlin - Then & Now" came out of print. This is a book based on 69 colored illustrations of the current and historical development of the Berlin government district with Reich Chancellery, Fuhrerbunker, Wilhelmplatz and Vossstrasse.
A current photograph is presented on each description page to show in which direction one should look from the respective location. This is contrasted with a picture depicting the historic situation for each point. The city tour provides with a wealth of background information on the different buildings and takes the reader on a walk of approximately one hour’s duration to important landmarks within Hitler’s Reich Chancellery and the historic government district.
Anyone interested in construction history of the Berlin government district can either go on a discovery tour and visit the historic location using this city guide or, of course, read the book without visiting Berlin.
The city guide can be ordered here http://christoph-neubauer-shop.de on the online shop of Christoph Neubauer.

Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
Hi. Just would like to know, i've just finished reading the book of the dutch journalist who traced the thorak horses from the Reichskanzlei along with the statue Wehrmacht.
But what i can't seem to find out is where are they now and what will happen with them?
Are they going to a museum or something?
Does anybody have som more info about this?
Personally i would love to see them...
Thanks

Here are my humble contributions - they aren’t close to the incredible posts I’ve enjoyed here.
Hope they are not duplicates - I didn’t see them anywhere on this thread - these are in my collection.

No problem.
Still very curious to know where the horses are. And the statue Wehrmacht.
if anyone has more info, that would be great.

For what it's worth, this may help. It's my (eternally unfinished) blog: https://wordpress.com/post/vossstrasse.com/1298
