Aha...quite a handsome chap he was too. I had always the impression that he wore an eye patch, possibly given by the movies?

He also had a glass eye, which he didn't like but used sometimes. I think however this photo was taken before he was wounded.

The painting above was painted by Heinrich Knirr in 1937, it still exists and is now in the Imperial war museum in London.

Who knows? It keeps getting put off. It seems that the film itself may be a bigger bomb than the one von Stauffenberg planted under ol' Adolf's table. :P
