I thought so! It looks a lot like Bruno Ganz....and yes, I have watched it about 3 times, also! It's a great movie; the soundtrack is equally haunting...I listen to it at work all the time.

Hi Johnny, yes great movie, have it on DVD and watch it frequently, UNFORTUNATELY there are several simple errors which could have been avoided with an extra bit of research.

to name a few,
Otto Gunsche is shown as a dark haired person whereas it is clear from contemporary images he was Blond!
The final suicides of Generale Hans Krebs and Burgdorf are shown as happening at the same time, krebs commited suicide, all contemporay accounts indicate the Burgdorf was part of the last breakout and died possibly on the Wiedammer bridge and didn't commit suicide in the bunker, i'm sure that the soviets would have exibited his body as they did with Kreb's.
Fegeliens rank insignia is wrong
