Re: Hitler portrait photos
One of the favorites from my collection. Not too many close ups of Hitler wearing his Blutorden.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
Portrait of the young Hitler in 1923 taken by Heinrich Hoffmann
Re: Hitler portrait photos
Are these two Hoffmann's photos?
I'm almost certain they are all his photos since most of the official photos (especially portraits) of Hitler were Hoffmann's.
http://www.germanpostalhistory.com/ German Postal History has a lot of the official portraits of Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels and others.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
First photo has a lapel pin. Any idea what it is?( It looks like a DVG? badge, not a NSDAP) From what I have seen of Hitler; He never wore any insignia/medal/pin/accoutrement without statement, over the years.
Re: Hitler portrait photos
I'm not 100%, I would have just assumed the NSDAP badge in all honesty.ChristopherPerrien wrote:First photo has a lapel pin. This is the print of it that was in the book Das Antlitz des Führers (The Face of the Führer) by Heinrich Hoffmann published in 1939.

It was year by year the different portraits of Hitler that were officially taken.
He never really changed all that much in all honesty.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
I think it's just an early party pin in the image of AH.
