Re: Hitler portrait photos
This is a B/W version of a color picture of Hitler and Goebbels in the Teehaus overlook taken by Walter Frentz.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
Yes, it is a very well known photo, but it's not often seen in black and white.Boby wrote:This is a B/W version of a color picture of Hitler and Goebbels in the Teehaus overlook taken by Walter Frentz.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
Hitler taken on his 50th birthday. I lifted this picture from an article on how Hitler's 50th birthday celebration led to WWII (his megalomania)...this picture is from a film clip of the event and was later colorized (it was mostly published in b/w). Hitler appears to me in this picture to be rather 'mechanized' or robot-like, a dead, colorless expression in his eyes, like an old man with alzheimer's being led forward by his grandchildren. He doesn't look relaxed or normal but tense and apprehensive, his arms and hands having a pincer-like hold on the children. This is the kind of pose that makes me think of Dr. Morell and his drugs and the effects they had on Hitler's body.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
Agreed, looks slightly ludicrous, that's exactly what I thought when I posted them. Unfortunately history shows that appearances can be deceptiveghostsoldier wrote:I'm sorry..it's hard to take Adolf serious in those shorts and hosen....

Re: Hitler portrait photos
The lederhosen wear that Hitler was styling was to appeal to the traditional Bavarian....the NSDAP got it's start in Bavaria. It looks ludricous to us moderns, but many Bavarians wore lederhosen back then....now we only see that garb at annual Oktoberfests. Did you notice that Hitler appears to be wearing a bullet proof vest? Especially in the upper photo?
