Carinhall - Hermann Gorings house

I have been researching Hermann Goring for 2 years now, and I am planning on visiting Berlin again later this year.
1. Has anyone visited the Carinhall site?
2. If so, can you give any ideas on how to get the most out of a visit pls?
3. Can anyone recommend a knowledgable person/guide who would be interested in taking my husband and I over the site pls?
many thanks
Michele

Maybe you'll find the treasure everyone thinks he buried there! Be sure to bring picks and shovels, maybe a backhoe or something.....

Michele
if you want a good tip, get AFTER THE BATTLE magazine, No.71 it has a 13 page long glossy feature on Carinhall, then and now photos, a plan, maps, all sorts of visitor information. its really cheap too (£3.50 here).

Down Under you can get it from http://www.techbooks.com.au, they are Technical books and Magazines, 295 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Vic 3000, telephone 03 9663 2094.

Good luck with your visit

Pete
