I went to Prinzregentenplatz 16 when I was in München year before last - and at that time the house was a policestation with cameras outside - monitoring people I guess :-) - took a few photos off course, but they aren't that good as it was dark when I had time you go there. I believe that they are on my computer at work. I 'll post them next week.

Heydrich's Berlin villa still stands today:

The truth is that you're a quiet, sensitive type, but if I'm prepared to take a chance I might just get to know the inner you: witty, adventurous, passionate, loving, loyal, a little bit crazy, a little bit bad, but, hey, don't us girls just love that?

Von...do you have any idea where that remote cabin might be?
Has anyone ever tried to locate the houses in America that Speer designed pro-bono for GIs during the Spandau years?
I have always wondered that myself....
I wonder if the "private hands" that possess the Haus Speer on Obersalzberg are those of Albert Speer the Younger?
I suspect that it is, but cannot find proof to that effect...being the oldest, one would think Jr. would possibly have been the executor of the will, or at least co-executor with Hilde, and was probably bequeathed the Haus Speer...

Von...do you have any links to info that would show his home? I have seen many photos of the other leaders' homes, but never Ley's...I would be interested in seeing some period interior and exterior photos of his house....

Here is the link to the website for the "book": I wonder if there is a "video" in existence?

Two pics of the Prinzregentenplatz 16, the appartmentbuilding in München where Hitlers had his flat - notice the policeinsignias and the cameras . . .

Hmmm ... I'm thinking that looks more like Bormann's house, especially the lay of the land. Not 100% certain - I can't find any pics that show that exact same angle of Bormann's house. (excuse the quality of these two pics)

I wonder if anyone out there has any photos of Hitler appearing from his balcony in this photo?

Jodel and Keitel's houses are still standing across from the 2nd Reichchancellory in Berchtesgaden.

Jodl's small house was torn down about a year ago, and a modern house erected on the site. But you're right - Keitel's house is still there (recently renovated).

Thanks for the update Geoff. Was there a good reason for its removal or just the Bavarian Govt erasing the past?
