I have been using HistoMapBerlin to research various pre-war addresses in Berlin. The resource is excellent (first recommended to me by Greg Singh) but while all the buildings and their numerical addresses are supplied I cannot find a corresponding index for the names or functions of the buildings. For example, the site indicates two buildings adjoining the Propaganda Ministry in 1939 the numbers of which are 6 and 7 Wilhelmplatz but there appears to be no information on what the functions of these buildings were.
Is there an index for these addresses somewhere?

Hi, one way of finding these are Berlin's Telephone and Address Directories available from Digitale Landesbibliothek Berlin.
For most buildings you have: Owner, Administrator and tenants.
