Unknown Statue or Monument\Memorial

Possibly Bavarian

I doubt this is still around today but I'm curious if anyone can recognize it?
Also would this be outside of a barracks\ Training school, or does the statue look more like a memorial to WW1?

Looks WWI based on the uniform & equipment worn by the soldier depicted on the statute.

I agree: probably WWI. The statue's helmet appears to be the M-16 or M-17. A nice commemoration, though.
