Berlin Panzer Panther locations
Here are some photographs of some Panzer hulls defending the streets of Berlin, would anyone on here know their locations, some are the same tank but shot at different angles
I would like to be able to take a modern view if possible

Re: Berlin Panzer Panther locations
I think there locations are discussed in this thread. Seems like I read them somewhere in this topic.

Please note that Google Street View in Berlin is more than 10 years old...I would like to be able to take a modern view if possible
Berlin Panther1 photo was taken on Sophie-Charlotte-Platz.

Re: Berlin Panzer Panther locations
Thank you Greg. that is one located, three to go!
A useful shot from Google, I think that one of the views has an underground/ S Bahn staircase in the background?

Yes, photo Berlin Panther2 (2) has both: U-Bahn sign and S-Bahn Ring viaduct in the background.has an underground/ S Bahn staircase in the background?
This location had been already suggested as corner of Frankfurter Allee and Möllendorffstraße.
There was another photo taken in the same spot showing damaged buildings along alleged Frankfurter Allee.

I would say there is high probability of this being a correct location. Another photo from 1930.

And a view from Google.

Re: Berlin Panzer Panther locations
Thank you so much Greg, a nice piece of detective work
So I not the only one scouring the internet for photos,by the way I stood on the same spot last year but never realised!
I can see the Panzerturm had a great view down Frankfurter Allee
In that case one more to identify (the covered shell casing turret), I think the first picture shows the POWs walking towards the same camouflaged Panther where the Russian Officer is standing in your shared view
Another location now added to my list

Re: Berlin Panzer Panther locations
Unfortunately I don't have a location for Berlin Panther2 (1) photo.
But there are several clues.
To start with, you can buy a high resolution copy of this photo from Alamy, photo number B9R1G9.
Perhaps that would help with reading a road sign and a shop name.
Looks like Tempelhof and Müncheberg, but I can't see kilometres.
Looks like Netz Geräte... or Metz...
There is another photo taken in the same location, in spite of better resolution, I can't work out business name.
