I have been in Croatia recently and saw some war relics along the railroad. Can anybody tell me more about these objects?
Thank you.

Re: war relics along the railroad in Croatia
Most likely air raid shelters for railroad guards or personnel - protection against shrapnel from nearby bomb blasts.
See - https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splitterschutzzelle and http://www.bkffm.siemavisuart.de/bunker/einmann.html (text in German). Sometimes these are called "Einmannbunkers" today, but some were designed for more than one person.

Thanks Geoff. I am wondering if these remnants are from the occupier (pre-war) or former Yugoslavian government (post-war).

I used to play inside those bunkers when I was living in Rijeka (Fiume). There are build by Italians around 1942 to protect railroads and then used by Germans by the end of the war.
