In Memories of Kreisau and the German Resistance by Freya von Moltke, she describes a scene in 1941 in which what she calls "a delegation of high ranking officers and extended family" celebrating the great Von Moltke on the 50th anniversary of his death in 1941. She went on to state that the party officials were planning on replacing his simple burial chapel he built for his wife with a larger grander structure but were talked out of it by Helmuth James Moltke (famous conspirator in the July 20th plot). I can't find anything regarding this celebration or who attended, does anyone have any information or pictures of this event? It would have been October 1941 at Kreisau in Silesia.
